Amy young

athletic therapist

As a kid, Amy's parents encouraged her to stay active. Needless to say, she played many sports growing up and found Athletic Therapy 3 years after being misdiagnosed with a minor MCL sprain. An Athletic Therapist was the only one who took the time to listen, educate and rehab her. It is because of her, as well as my experience with injury and rehab that Amy went to Sheridan College in Toronto to study Athletic Therapy. Her goal is to be the practitioner that she wishes she had when she was first injured - one who takes the time to listen, checks the relevant structures, educates and treats each person as an individual, not an injury.

As I got older I was starting to develop heath issues and needed to get in better shape & lose some weight. From the start, Benji did a great job of assessing my body needs & how to address them. He demonstrates a strong knowledge of the human body, uses great variety of exercises & stretches while keeping the workouts fun and engaging. Whether it’s my knees or back, he’ll adjust the workouts to address my bodies current needs of the day. I’m moving better, feeling more flexible & am even starting to lose weight - I would highly recommend Benji for personal trainer.
