Personal Trainer

I graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2018 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. While attending University I learned a lot of rehabilitation exercises while  I was the one of Universities Student Athletic Therapists.Following graduation I moved back to Calgary and became a Kinesiologist at a Physiotherapy clinic  where my job was to provide exercises and any manual therapy that was needed. While working at the Phyio clinic I noticed a need for longer term training for the clients as they needed more time and the injuries were due to other imbalances throughout the body so I decided to pursue a career in Personal Training.

Once I received my certification as a Personal Trainer through CanFitPro I started focusing on exercise therapy and other certifications that could help with injuries and exercise programming to help get people back to whatever they wanted. I have worked with individuals with joint replacements, Osteoporosis, MS, arthritis, and ligament/muscular injuries. With my transition over to Synapse Health from a big box gym I want to focus on treating the body as a whole and making sure to use all disciplines such as assessments, exercises, fascial stretch techniques and re-assessing to ensure we are getting the body to its full potential.

When I am not working with clients, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, powerlifting, walking my dog, spending time with my family and friends and enjoying time with my husband.
